Aims

A pre-feasibility study for Community Owned Next Generation Access for the Calder Valley including:

  1. A brief for the feasibility study including:
    1. technical project scope
    2. outline of specific demographics characteristics of the area
    3. tested routes for showing demand and engaging people in the project
  2. Potential funders for the feasibility study
  3. Funding calendar
  4. Funding applications / template funding applications

Project Plan

This project is divided into three phases.

Phase one: Data gathering

By end March

Funding stream research Scoping research

Produce list of funders' requirements and calendars, sift funders.  

Phase two: Community involvement

By end May

Demonstration of local demand, enthusiasm, ownership and involvement is necessary for the project to be viewed as realistic by potential funders (even to fund the feasibility study).  The degree to which this is required, however, should come out of phase two and this part of the project should be reviewed in the light of phase 1.

Identify one or two routes to specific groups

Develop materials and initiate dialogue
